EXTREMUS®
Winter Group Trek
WHATIt’s all in the name. “Expect frozen water bottles, frozen fingers, and frozen toes.”
Extremus is an Alpine-style (winter) group trek through some of New Hampshire's toughest mountain terrain, designed by the creators of the toughest endurance events on earth, The Endurance Society. In addition to the physical endurance required to summit 22 miles, with changing altitudes of up to 10k additional feet, you’ll be tasked to battle a formidable opponent, mother nature, as she challenges you to duel with her arsenal of natural elements; ice, snow, rock, and whipping winds. Do to the extreme exposure and the fact that most of the trek is above tree line, we won't wait for each other but instead we will be in groups based on our speed and ability. A minimum of three will travel together at all times and you'll not only be an active participant but you'll also be responsible for your safety. Endurance Society will provide lodging, food before and after the event, shuttle service, and a unique adventure in the White Mountains. Registration is limited to 20 participants. |
