Andy Weinberg

Andy teaches Health, Human Movement and Sport at Castleton University. He is a member of Killington Search & Rescue and serves on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Vermont.
Andy has been directing endurance events for 20 years. He started the McNaughton Ultra-marathons in Illinois, Peak Adventure Racing, and co-founded the Spartan Race. His endurance accomplishments include double, triple, and quintuple ironman triathlons, a 1,200-mile, solo bike ride from Illinois to Vermont, open-water swimming events, adventure races, and ultra-distance trail races. Andy also enjoys skiing, hiking, mountaineering, exploring, paddling, and spending time with his family. He currently resides in Mendon, Vermont with his wife Sloan and his daughters Grace and Jade. |

Founded in 2014, the mission of The Endurance Society is twofold: To create unique, life-changing, and mind-blowing experiences for adventure enthusiasts, and to utilize our members for community involvement. The Endurance Society embodies physical strength, mental fortitude, integrity, loyalty, courage, teamwork, and the indomitable human spirit.
