Winter Group Trek
It’s all in the name. “Expect frozen water bottles, frozen fingers, and frozen toes.”
Extremus is an Alpine-style (winter) group trek through some of New York’s toughest mountain terrain, designed by the creators of the toughest endurance events on earth, The Endurance Society.
In addition to the physical endurance required to summit 24 miles, with changing altitudes of up to 10k additional feet, you’ll be tasked to battle a formidable opponent, mother nature, as she challenges you to duel with her arsenal of natural elements; ice, snow, rock, and whipping winds.
Don’t embark on this Quest Haphazardly. While your greatest ally is your team, should you fall behind the required pace, min. 1.5 MPH, you’ll be left behind at the first regroup location.
Registration is limited to 15 participants, and is closed to non-society members.
